Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Moondrop Studios handles information in Little Studio, listed on Google Play as Little Studio Pomodoro (package com.wearmoondrop.littlestudio).

Information stored on your device

Little Studio saves timer state, session times and durations, daily totals, project and task names, routines, goals, focus history, reminders, sound selections and display preferences in the app’s private Android storage. It uses these records to run timers, resume sessions, display your progress and provide the features you select. This information is not sent to a Moondrop Studios server.

Google Play purchases

Google Play handles the optional one-time Pro payment and keeps its transaction records under Google’s Privacy Policy. Little Studio uses Google Play Billing to query products and purchases, acknowledge completed purchases and restore Pro access. The app receives product information and signed purchase records, including a purchase token and purchase state, and stores the verified purchase record locally so Pro can work offline. Purchase and restoration requests communicate with Google Play. Little Studio does not receive your payment-card or bank details. Moondrop Studios can access transaction and sales information made available to the developer by Google Play for support, refunds and financial records.

Backups, imports and exports

When you choose to save a backup or export history as CSV, Little Studio writes the selected data to the location you choose through Android’s document picker. A backup can include your tasks, projects, routines, session history, timer settings and preferences. A CSV export includes session details and related task or project names. Restoring a backup reads the file you select and replaces the app’s current local data after confirmation.

A destination may be local storage or a cloud document provider. Transfers and storage by a provider you choose are governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Exported files are not encrypted by Little Studio; choose a location and sharing settings you trust.

Android system backup and device-to-device transfer are enabled. Depending on your Android backup settings, Android or your device provider may back up app data, including preferences and cached entitlement records. Little Studio does not operate that backup service. You can manage system backups in your device settings.

Permissions and background activity

• Notifications and vibration: countdowns, session-completion alerts and optional daily reminders.
• Exact alarms and restart scheduling: timely timer alerts and restoring their schedules after a device restart or time change.
• Foreground media playback and wake lock: optional user-selected focus sounds while the screen is off, with a visible playback notification and stop control.
• Document access: only files and destinations you select for import or export.

The app does not request microphone, camera, contacts, location or broad photo-library access. Generated focus sounds do not record audio.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you replace or delete it, clear Little Studio’s storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. To remove all local data, open Android Settings → Apps → Little Studio → Storage → Clear storage. This resets the timer, preferences, tasks and history. Uninstalling or clearing storage does not cancel or refund a Google Play purchase; ownership can be restored using the purchasing Play account.

Delete exported files and cloud-provider copies separately. Android backups can remain under your backup provider’s retention settings and may be restored during reinstallation. Google retains billing and transaction records under its own policies and applicable obligations. If you contact support, we use the message and any information you choose to send to respond, resolve the issue and maintain necessary correspondence. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable record-retention obligations.

Security and sharing

Android app-private storage protects local records through the device’s access controls. Google Play manages the security of purchase communications. We do not sell personal information or share focus data with advertisers. No system can guarantee absolute security; protect your device and backup files.

Children

Little Studio is a general productivity app and is not designed or marketed specifically to children. It does not create user profiles or operate social features.

Website links

Opening this policy or another external link uses your browser. This website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which processes normal web-request information such as IP addresses and browser requests to serve and protect the site under Google’s Privacy Policy. The Little Studio pages do not include advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. Firebase Hosting is used for this website; the Android app does not include a Firebase analytics SDK.
